Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to explore the relationship between corporate governance, disclosure, and the acceptance of going concern audit opinions among energy firms listed on the IDX. It focuses on how effective corporate governance practices and transparency measures influence the evaluation of these audit opinions, which assess uncertainties regarding firms' long-term operational sustainability. The research uses purposive sampling to select 15 representative companies and employs logistic regression analysis as the primary analytical tool. The analytical framework includes evaluating the feasibility of the regression model, overall model fit, coefficient of determination, classification matrix, and Wald test. The findings reveal that corporate governance factors such as institutional ownership, management ownership, and the presence of an independent board of commission do not significantly impact the acceptance of going concern audit opinions. However, there is a significant negative relationship between the level of corporate social responsibility transparency and the acceptance of these audit opinions.
According to the research, future researchers are advised to include more research factors, extend the duration of the research, and broaden the research sample in order to enhance the likelihood of achieving more favorable outcomes.
